the boiling hot water burns my hand just slightly
as i run the cold water over it
the skin feels tight and tingly
red
drinking the sugary tea
the same feeling down my throat
but it burns so nicely
i want to be numb
right now
i want to feel the burn of the sun
and the senselessness
